These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Love New York (the "Site"), operated in New York, NY. By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Love New York. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Each person may maintain only one account. Please let us know right away at support@lovenewyork.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Membership & Billing

Love New York offers a free membership and one or more paid membership plans, described on our Membership page. Paid plans, prices, and any promotional pricing may change at any time; the price you agreed to at purchase applies for that billing period.

Paid memberships may renew automatically unless cancelled. You can review or cancel your membership at any time by contacting support@lovenewyork.com. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

4. Community Guidelines

Love New York is a place for genuine people looking for genuine connections. When using the Site, you agree not to:

Impersonate anyone or create a profile that isn't truthfully you
Harass, threaten, or abuse another member
Post content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors
Use the Site for commercial solicitation, advertising, or spam
Request or send money to another member, or use the Site to facilitate any financial scheme
Attempt to access another member's account or interfere with the Site's normal operation

We may review, remove, or restrict any content or account that violates these guidelines, at our discretion and without prior notice.

5. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you post. By posting content, you grant Love New York a license to display it on the Site as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your profile photo to other members). You're solely responsible for what you post and for having the rights to post it.

6. Your Safety

Love New York does not conduct criminal background checks on members and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. You're responsible for your own safety when communicating with or meeting other members. We recommend meeting in public places, telling a friend your plans, and never sending money to someone you've met on the Site.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violating these Terms, without a refund of any paid fees except where required by law. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Love New York does not guarantee that you will find a match or any particular outcome from using the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Love New York is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your interactions with other members.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
